Job Description:

Are you passionate about wine and dedicated to delivering exceptional service in a trendy and vibrant environment? If so, we invite you to join our team as a Bartender/Server at our newly established wine bar in the O'Bryonville area.

Responsibilities:

• Beverage Service: Craft and serve a wide variety of wines and other beverages to our guests with professionalism and precision. Ensure that all drinks are prepared to our high standards.

• Wine Knowledge: While basic knowledge of wines is preferred, we welcome candidates with a willingness to expand their understanding of wines. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow your expertise in the world of wines to provide informed recommendations and enhance the guest experience.

• Guest Interaction: Create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests. Engage with customers, answer questions about our wine selection, and provide recommendations based on their preferences.

• Food Service: Assist in serving food items and small plates from our menu. Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure prompt and accurate food delivery to guests.

• Order Management: Take orders accurately, input them into the POS system, and process payments efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the bar area.

• Upselling: Suggest wine pairings and promote special promotions to enhance the overall guest experience and maximize sales.

• Compliance: Adhere to all alcohol service guidelines and regulations, ensuring the responsible service of alcohol at all times.

Requirements:

• Previous bartending or serving experience is a plus.

• A basic understanding of wines is preferred, but a willingness to learn and expand your knowledge is essential.

• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Availability to work evenings and weekends, as our wine bar is a popular destination for both locals and visitors.
